I MADE IT!!

I'm sorry it's been so long since you've heard from me and a lot has happened.
The past few weeks have been nothing but crazy.
First I'd like to give a shoutout to Cady, Damarkus, Brian and Ty.
Despite all the sadness I feel from leaving and realizing the summer has come to an end, nothing makes me happier to know that I got to spend my last summer in CT with the best / coolest people I know.
I've grown to love you a lot in such a short period of time. You have taught me so much and make me laugh like no other. You guys make me a better person and bring out such a artistic and creative side of myself.
Please don't stop making music, please don't stop making art, please never stop loving people for who they are.
I can't wait to see what the future has in store for all of us as people. (please visit me in CO)
I love you guys so much. I'll see you in December :)
I MADE IT TO COLORADO
After driving for three days, (more like after 8 months of stressing), I officially made it!!! :)
Here's how the trip went:
Day 1 : Windsor, CT to Davenport, IA
Miles traveled: 1,050 miles
Despite leaving at 5:30 AM, I felt upbeat (mostly because I was wicked excited). I was entertained by the scenery and it was exciting driving in unknown and new territory.
Day 2 : Davenport, IA to North Platte, NE
Miles traveled: 577 miles
Left at 8:30, got a flat tire and ended up getting tires in Iowa City. Didn't get back on to the road until 3 pm and didn't stop until 9:30. I was really tired at this point and ready to get to boco. The corn fields were starting to drive me a little nuts at this point. You could see people living in houses miles apart.
Day 3 : North Platte, NE to Boulder, CO
Miles traveled: 278 miles
Boulder is one of the coolest places I've ever been. I've never seen so many different types of people who all embrace themselves and embrace others. There are people here from all over the country and all over the world. People are so active and have such a strong sense for adventure. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming, I have really found my place.
Shoutout to my amazing roommates, I really dig you guys and we're gonna kill it this year.
I've never met better people to vibe with. There is so much to do and so much to see (and so many places to eat).
This is what I've been waiting 8 months for. I'm finally here and I am so f***ing happy.
I couldn't ask for a better life.
There will be a lot more blog posts coming in the future. (Hopefully)
I'm still trying to figure out my work and school schedules
But there will be tons of pictures and videos coming.
Pce, Luv and pesto
Alex :)
