Hey guys :) I'm back on the East coast for Christmas and I never thought I would say this, but I am soooo happy to be here. They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder, and now I could consider that completely true. I definitely missed this place.
There's definitely a lot more I appreciate about Windsor now.
I appreciate the miserable people and the farm land. I find it funny how absolutely nothing has changed, but I'm honestly not surprised.
I really do love this place and all the people in it. But being home as made me realize even more how little there is for me here. If I ever came back to live here, I would be stuck and really really bored. I'm so unbelievably happy I left this place and I know for a fact I'll never live here again which is bittersweet.
This place has made me who I am today, but that is all. This place will no longer serve me in any way shape or form.
I want to remind those people who feel stuck:
Leave if you aren't happy. You have the ability to change your life at any second.
Start now. Start where you are. Start with fear. Start with pain. Start with doubt. Start with your hands shaking and your voice trembling, but start. Start and don't stop. Start where you are with what you have. Just start.
It is never to late to be whoever you want to be.
Do whatever the fuck makes you feel alive.
"I hope you live a life you're proud of, and if you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again."
You have to realize that everything in nature invites us constantly to be what we are. Remind yourself of the potential that you hold within yourself t live the life you want to live.
Everyday you wake up you have a choice, a choice to wake up and do what you need to do to make yourself happy. You are the only thing you've got at the end of the day, please don't neglect your own happiness. There is no such thing as selfishness when you are making yourself happy.
Allow the space between where you want to be and where you are inspire you, not terrify you.
In honor of the christmas season, believe. Believe in yourself and believe that you can change your own life.
